“Opening oneself to the possibility of transformation is a profound act of courage.” - Maureen Walker

I am a clinical psychologist serving adults in the states of Pennsylvania and Oregon.

I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Franklin and Marshall College and completed my master’s degree and doctorate in clinical psychology from George Fox University. I have provided therapy and assessment services in a variety of clinical settings, including schools, universities, and group practices.

I feel incredibly lucky to have found my vocation in psychotherapy and profoundly honored to walk alongside my clients.

I was born and raised in Pennsylvania with familial roots in Puerto Rico. In my spare time, I enjoy seeing live music, connecting with nature, songwriting, singing, reading, and thrifting.

Therapeutic Approach

I strongly value my clients’ unique identities and seek to nurture your expression of sexuality, culture, and spirituality. I strive to provide deeply present, imaginative, compassionate and holistic care. My therapeutic interests include, but are not limited to, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, racial/ethnic identity, perfectionism, chronic illness and disability, religious and complex trauma. I have special interest and experience in working with Latino clients.

Psychoanalyst Erich Fromm captures my promise and commitment to those I work with: “When you come to me, I will be completely open to you. And I shall respond with all the chords in myself which are touched by the chords in yourself. That is all we can promise and that is a promise we can keep.”
